Ctenanthe Setosa Grey Star

Setosa ‘Grey Star’ (Ctenanthe setosa) is part of the Marantaceae family giving her the ability to respond to the circadian rhythmic nastic movement at the onset of darkness. You’ll see her long elliptical leaves fold upward as if in intense prayer. The undersides of her leaves are painted in a deep purple giving her a whole different shape and look at night. It’s like she’s changed into a new dress for the evening and gone to her prayer closet. Give her room to expand to get to 3 feet tall and wide in the right conditions.
